Author Sean Laidlow is really an enigma. Having met Sean and Barrie several times over the past years, I had no idea the real story behind the relationship.
Filled with surprises and intrigue. Laidlow’s easy to follow narrative takes the reader (and Barrie) on a journey from war torn Syria, to a new life in the UK. I was fully engrossed from beginning to end and couldn’t stop reading.
The book opened my eyes to an entirely new side to the heartwarming relationship between Sean and his canine best friend.
I consumed the entire thing in 2 days.
