Boudoir Interview starring the incredible BB Mitchell

There was a time when a dogs only home was its kennel outside.
Thankfully things have changed and our pets are not just welcome inside, they are given their own bedroom!
In the city, space is a premium but these pampered pooches are given more square footage than most New Yorkers!

Please introduce yourself 

My name is Betty Boop Mitchell aka BB. I am a 4 year old Maltese

Where did your name come from?

I got my name because my mom loves anything Betty Boop

What are your favorite things to do in the city?

My favorite thing to do is go out everywhere with mom and my boyfriend Casper.

What makes BB different to most city dogs?

I am not a typical dog park dog. I go to dog parks wif my mom, but don’t run and play much wif other dogs. Some dogs might call that being a “snob” but I just like to play wif my friends. Some of the other dogs might get ruff when they play and I don’t like that.

What is the best thing about being a city dog?

The smells! There are sooo many of them, and I love to smell, sniff, smell, sniff, smell, sniff.

What is the worst thing about being a city dog?

Not being able to go into certain places with mom. It is hard for her and I feel bad sometimes that I am not allowed into certain places. I wish NY was a lot more dog friendly.

Do you want a brother or sister?

There has been some talk between my parents about a brother or sister but I’m not so sure how I feel about it yet. It’s just talk now so I’m ok. Heehee

What is your favorite color?

Pink of course.

BB’s wardrobe

Do you ever have a naked (clothes free) day?

I have naked days in the house. If I am going out and can’t decide what to wear, mom will just put a harness on me for the day, but I am usually wearing something out. Giggle

What is your most extravagant purchase?

Mom is telling me to be quiet. She doesn’t want to get in twouble if daddy finds out. So Mum’s the word on this one.

What is your daily routine?

Get mommy off to work, eat breakfast then snuggle time wif dad until its time for me to get him off to work. Then I play with some of my toys until mom gets home. Go for a walk to see some of my neighborhood friends then have dinner and snuggle time wif mommy unless we have somewhere to go.

Tell us about your active social life and charity work

I am the CPO of Pups On The Runway so I assist on a loft of events with my mom. We also attend many different social events that benefit shelters and rescue. I go out a lot with my boyfriend Casper and do some great things. Mom loves Metropolitan Maltese Rescue so she is always putting on an event to benefit them. I also do a lot of fashion shows with my friends.

Would you describe your life as pampered, spoiled or perfect?

I have a very pampered life but I know some other pups that are more pampered than me. I’ve been discussing this with my mom and dad though. Giggle

Are you the typical city dog?

I think I am a typical city dog. I’m from the Bronx so why wouldn’t I be? giggle
