We are so lucky to be able to interview Frida, a little London dog. Not only is Frida an amazing companion for her owner, she is also a little entrepreneur. She is only the 3rd little Londoner to be featured in a Boudoir Interview (and boy were we lucky to have her)
My name is Frida. My Growlmama describes me as a happy accident between a French Bulldog and a Brussels Griffon. Apparently I was named for Mexican artist Frida Kahlo Where do you live? I live in East London. What makes Frida different to most dogs in the city? I have fabulous ears which I flap to get attention and glorious gnashers.
What is the most difficult thing about being a dog in the city? There are so many places I’d like to visit with my mum ( I hate being left at home) but they won’t let me in. What is your fav things to do in the city? I love riding the tube and snaffling chicken bones on the pavement. Would you sacrifice your city life for a country estate? I’d love a country estate where I could run free but I think I’d miss the chicken.
How do you keep the balance of having a small space but allowing dogs to be dogs? I take my mum on a lot of walks. Fortunately she works from home so we go out several times a day. Either to the park or along the Thanes. We maybe in the city but there is a lot of green space. How have you changed your owners life? I’ve definitely changed my mum’s life. I’m her best friend and muse to her two dog businesses Growlees.com and growlmama.com
What is a typical day for Frida? A long walk along the river followed by breakfast, an a snooze while my mum packs orders or works on her business. We then head out to the post office via the park for some snaffling. Back home, more snoozing.
Out again to meet my friends for some zoomies (I’m the fastest!) and to be plied with treats by my friend Janet.
