When Home Goods call, you answer.
It is not often that we get a call to go dog shopping in a furniture store. Honestly the idea kinda baffled me. What does a furniture store know about pets? The answer is apparently a lot more than I thought!!
There is only one Home Goods near me and in all honesty, it was a bit of a schlep however it was so worth it. Home Goods appears to be a mecca for 2 and 4 legged city inhabitants alike. The selection of everyday products such as leashes, collars, treats and bowls was bigger than most pet stores taking up three huge aisles!
In the dog bed aisle, I lusted over a few too many products and ended up spending a small fortune on two shopping carts of dog paraphernalia (considering how reasonably priced the choices are, I walked away with a LOT of product)
Nothing from Home Goods appears to be cheaply made with well known brands such as Jax&Bones and Kennel Club supplying beds to the chain.
As I did not have the pups with me, I borrowed a lovely little pup in the store to pose for a picture. Little Bear was unbelievably adorable and insisted on “trying out” all the beds he could before making the important final decision.
I came home from Home Goods exhausted and several hundred dollars closer to poverty but it was worth it for the huge selection of unique and quality pet products which are perfect for city dogs.
